He was predeceased by: his father Marvin R. Funk. He is survived by: his mother Peggy LaPhew Funk; his wife Robin Cole Funk of Moreland, GA; his sons, Brandon Kyle and John Bailey Funk; and his siblings, Chuck Lineburg, Michael Funk, Terri Shupe, Linda Griffin and Brenda Thompson (Walt).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
