He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry, Sr. and Carrie Mae Scarborough Layton; and his brother William Layton, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Grace Layton; his son Craig Layton; his daughter-in-law Kimberly; his grandchildren, Landon Layton and Alexi Vinson; his sister Mary Wilson; and his sister-in-law Linda Coarsey.
