She is survived by: her children, Patti Carey (Scott) and Tony Daws (Laura); her grandchildren, Kim Schwartz (Trey), Shayne Daws, Nicole Brown (Michael), Joshua Daws, Rain Daws, Katie Duncan (Terrance) and Chris Carey; her great grandchildren, Tripp, Sarah Catherine, Charlotte, Cooper, Kate, Tyler, Patrick, Alayna, Gabby and John; and her siblings, Jeanette Stapp, Ida Webb, Patricia Knight and Sammy Peters.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rutledge United Methodist Church (136 E Main St, Rutledge, GA 30663). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Rutledge Methodist Church or to Helping Honduras Ministries.
