She is survived by: her son Jonathan Daniel Joyner; her grandchildren, Josh Salazar, Austin Salazar (Jordan), Alex Salazar (Cheyenne), Andrew Salazar, Arial Joyner (Alex Jump), Livy Martin, Thomas Martin, Lorelei Maggie Lambert, Dade Jonathan Joyner and Ella Joyner; her great grandchild Jaxson Salazar; her siblings, Betty Brooks, Mamie Christianson, Rose Dufour, Billie Ruth Mears and James Hancock; and her pet Wennie "Bean" Joyner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
