It is with sadness that the passing of Grady Ray McCurry of Morrow, Georgia is shared. Grady, born on August 25, 1939, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady McCurry and Mattie Lou McCurry (Rogers); his brother Harvey McCurry; and his sister-in-law Shirley McCurry. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann McCurry; his daughter Rosemary Ahonen (Daniel Ahonen); his sister Carolyn Roberts (Bill Roberts); and his grandchildren, Ethan Ahonen (Hannah Ahonen) and Amy Howington (Zach Howington). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (147 Church St, Jonesboro, GA 30236). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that. Memorial Contributions be made to the James Gang or the Missions Fund at First Baptist Church Jonesboro, P.O. Box 773 Jonesboro, GA 30237 in Grady McCurry's name.
