She was predeceased by: her parents, Notley Glenwood Maddox and Lottie Dearman Maddox; her husband James Everett Lewis Sr.; her sister Mary Glyn Maddox Spivey (Frank); and her son Robbie Poole.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Lewis (Kim) of Stockbridge, Georgia, Cindy Lewis McElhinney (Bret) of Oviedo, Florida and James E. "Jay" Lewis Jr. (Debbie) of Carrollton, Georgia; and her nephew Holt Spivey (Stacy) of Eatonton, Georgia. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-nephew.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Vining Ivy Hill Chapel (105 Lower Harmony Rd NE, Eatonton, GA 31024). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Vining Ivy Hill Chapel in Eatonton, Georgia (105 Lower Harmony Rd NE, Eatonton, GA 31024).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southern Comfort Hospice in Tucker, Georgia, or Emory Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta, Georgia.
