She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph Lawrence Knight, Jr.; her parents, George Franklin and Cleo Capitola Shutley; her brother George F. "Butch" Shutley, Jr.; and her nephew Russell Smith.
She is survived by : her son Joseph L. Knight, III of Morrow; her sisters, Nancy E Brown of Hiram and Jeanne Adams Bolden (David) of Gastonia, NC; and her nieces, Beverly Thompson, Eustaci Smith, Mandy Lemons, Julie McClure and Alana Jennings.
