He was predeceased by: his parents, William Archer Thompson, Sr. and Julia Griffin Thompson; his grandparents, John, Viola Griffin, Tommy Milburn and Rebecca Thompson; and his brother Milburn Thompson.
He is survived by: his brother Richard Thompson (Becky) of Morven; his nieces and nephews, John Thompson (Kelly), Vincent Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Michaela Thompson, Shannon Harmon (Jason) and Dylan Thompson (Annah); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Audric, Kimber and Archer.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Pauline Baptist Church (12950 Valdosta Hwy, Quitman, GA 31643).
