Alma Nell Bescher Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alma Nell Bescher of Moultrie, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardy Lewis Smith and Minnie Holland Smith; her husband William Duane Bescher; and her siblings, Bennie Smith, Dorsey Smith, Wayne Smith and Edith Smith Dennard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Lynn Platt (Alan), Michelle Elaine Fleck (Roy) and Laurie Ann Brewer (Tony). She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (100 West Blvd, Moultrie, GA 31768). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
