He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wilson Evarts and Margaret Janet Rogers Evarts. He is survived by: his wife Ann Brown Evarts of Moultrie; his sons, Daniel Rogers Evarts, Jr. of Athens, James Evarts (Elizabeth) of Newton and Dylan Evarts of Moultrie; and his sisters, Sybil Coley of Atlanta and Leila Schellenberg (Bob) of North Carolina.
