It is with sadness that the passing of Doris Gregory Goings of Moultrie, Georgia is shared. Doris, born on March 17, 1932, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ellis Gregory and Mary Agnes Sumner Gregory; her husband Charley Clyde Goings; and her siblings, Jack Lemuel Gregory (Elmira Beckett Gregory), John Ellis "Sonny" Gregory, Jr., Betti Agnes Gregory Weaver (Billy Dean Weaver) and Hazel Gregory Payne (Wilburn Edward Payne).
She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie Goings Carlson (Randy) and Cathy Goings Wiseman; her granddaughters, Melissa Landoll and Amber Muyres (Derek); and her great grandchildren, Reece Landoll, Irie Muyres, Lennon Muyres and Clementine Muyres. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cobb Funeral Chapel (2441 Camilla Hwy, Moultrie, GA 31768). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the American Lung Society.
