She was predeceased by: her father Horace Obert Carey; her husband James Carl Tidwell; her son Jerry Dewayne Tidwell; her grandsons, James Alexander Tidwell and Christopher Michael Tidwell; and her siblings, Buddy Carey, Irma Carey and Bertha McClelland.
She is survived by: her mother Annie Bryan Carey; her daughter Jenna Mock (Brandon); her grandchildren, Jacob Tidwell (Simran) and Karly Tidwell; her sisters, Janice Frazier, Tammy Carey and Bonnie Watts; and her close friend Rita Walden. She is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
