She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Oscar Locklear and Stella Isabella Hurst Locklear; her husband Hugard Yates; her daughter Marylee Casselman; her son-in-law James Casselman; and her siblings, Myrtle, Elvie, Verdie, Barney, Hermon and Walter.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Yates (Gail), Alice Ayers (Tommy) and William Yates. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren; and other family members.
