He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Spartman Connell and Thelma Davis Connell; his son Herbert "Herbie" Wade Connell; and his siblings, Paul Wade Connell, Reopard "Red" Connell, James Alton "Coon" Connell, Cecil Connell and Catherine Connell Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Louise Childers Connell; his son Edgar Wyman Connell; and his grandchildren, Kadee Dawn Connell of Moultrie, GA. and Kacee Brooke Connell of Moultrie, GA..
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Hopewell Cemetery Fund.
