He is survived by : his sons, Mac Montgomery (Mary Beth Demott) and Marc Montgomery; his grandchildren, Madison Montgomery, Harrison Brown and Julia Reed Brown; and his siblings, Bob Montgomery, Jr. (late Cindy Yancey), Lynn Montgomery Overton and Carol Jean Montgomery Wells (Jim Wells). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
