He was predeceased by: his parents, John Adair "Jack" Moore and Myrtle Askew Moore Harris; his wife Cheri Diane Thurmond; and his brothers, Doug Moore, Al Moore and Adair Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Leigh Moore of Pensacola, FL and Don Moore (Heather) of Moultrie, GA; his grandchildren, Logan of Moultrie, Hayden of Moultrie and John David Moore of Moultrie; and his sister-in-law Norma Moore. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro (117 S Main St, Greensboro, GA 30642). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (117 S Main St, Greensboro, GA 30642).
