It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Ruth Alday of Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Bruner and Jessie Lee Calloway Bruner; her husband Sam Alday; her siblings, Ben Bruner, Don Bruner, Ronnie Bruner, Sara Nash, Ethel Bruner, Virginia Robinson and Brenda Bruner; and her pet Baby.
She is survived by: her children, David McMillan (Mickey), Charles Cook, Christopher McMillan and Debra Phillips; her grandchildren, Tiffany Swilley, D. J. Dollar, Sarah Dollar, Jessica Brown, Becky Elkins, Allison McMillan, Hunter Cook and Memphis Cook; and her sisters, Anna Hall and Fay Anderson. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
