In the vast expanse of eternity, John Ferdinand shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John Ferdinand farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Audley Clyde Hawkins and Mary Hanke Dingle; his grandson Daniel Hawkins; and his great grandchild Ruby Lee Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Doris Dunn Hawkins; and his children, Jeffrey Hawkins (Lou Ann), Jerome Hawkins, J. Zacney Hawkins, Gigi Le Hawkins, Shelly M. Hawkins and John Anthony Hawkins (Sara Jane). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
