She was predeceased by: her father Lewis Coleman Pittman (Bud); and her brother Steve Pittman. She is survived by: her mother Jean Carolyn Fletcher Pittman of Moultrie; her husband Steve Thompson of Moultrie; her children, Jacob Thompson (Amy) of St. Mary's, Georgia and Abby Goodson (Josh) of Tallahassee, Florida; her grandchildren, Carter Thompson, Claire Thompson, Emery Goodson and Henry Goodson; her brother Stan Pittman (Betty) of Moultrie; and her sister-in-law Debbie Pittman of Moultrie.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Baker Funeral Home & Crematory (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
