He was predeceased by: his parents, Jocie Lovett Hamner and Carlton Dean Hamner; his siblings, Bud Brogdon, Mike Hamner and Nell Copeland; and his son-in-law Steve Sellers.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Meders of Omega; his children, Jennifer Merritt (Darin), Stephanie Sellers (Donald Mercer) and Dean Hamner (Haley); and his grandchildren, Zach Merritt (Leah), Druw Merritt (Anna), Lyle Sellers (Ali), Emilee Sullivan (Austin), Josie Sellers, Sam Sellers, Addie Hamner (Stephen), John Carlton Hamner and Jacob Hamner.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Friendship Alliance Church in his memory.
