He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence George Bertram, Sr. and Beatrice Welch Bertram; his wife Leona Clara Koslowski Bertram; his sons, Allen Roy Bertram and Keith Peter Bertram; his sisters, Shirley Bertram Reyna, Theresa Bertram Proulx, Dolores Bertram Dabrowski and Elaine Bertram; and his sister-in-law Beverly Sellers.
He is survived by: his children, Leonard Patrick Bertram (Patricia) and Dawn Marie Conger (Bruce); his grandchildren, Kristen Marie Conger Dekle (Ross), Shana Renee Hester (Ron), Austin Terrell Dorminey and Brooke Renee Conger Sealy (Tristan); his great grandchildren, Anna Kate Dekle, Brady Dekle, Paisley Hester, Piper Hester, Caroline Sealy and Cecilia Sealy; and his siblings, Esther Bertram Bunarek (John), Sharon Bertram Andrle (Joe) and Art Bertram (Shirley). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
