She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hart and Lillian Griffin Hart McLeod; her husband Newell Dwight Lastinger; and her brothers, Thomas Hart and Clifford Hart.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Sparkman (Ricky), Michael Lastinger, Melvin Lastinger (Lynn) and Reggie Lastinger (Janet); her grandchildren, Leanna Cullum (Wes), Jill Clark, Lukas Lastinger (Yula), Lyndsey Foster (Andy), Allison Lastinger, Alexander Lastinger and Lucy Lastinger; and her great grandchildren, Kale Cullum and Anna Kate Cullum. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Autreyville Baptist Church.
