He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Phillip Jones and Fannie Miller Jones; his wife Mary Hudson Jones; and his siblings, Donald Phillip Jones and Bernice NeSmith.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Stegall of Norman Park, Ken Jones of Ponte Vedra, FL and Sandra Bennett of Lakeland, GA; his grandchildren, Matthew Stegall, Christie Stegall, Michael Stegall, Paige Bennett, Will Bennett, Megan Jones, Nicholas Jones and Tate Jones; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Stegall, Brayden O'Conner, Rayland Bennett, Rachel Stegall, Kyler Bennett, Grey Henley and Madilyn O'Guin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home & Crematory (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788).
