She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Jackson McCrary and Maggie Dupree McCrary; and her siblings, Claudine McCrary Howell and James McCrary. She is survived by: her husband Bobby L. Brooks; her children, Linda Swofford (Jack) and Donald Brooks; her grandchildren, Brian Posey, Ashley, Brooke Coe (Ben) and Brent Posey (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Alyssa Stilwell, Mason Coe, Mikayla Coe, Madeline Posey and Liam Posey; and her siblings, Martha Barnard and Ken McCrary (Jane). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Calendar Liberty Hill Baptist Church (728 Liberty Hill Rd, Doerun, GA 31744). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Funston Baptist Church.
