He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Fredrick Penuel and Willie Jean King Penuel; and his wife JoAnn Hatfield Penuel. He is survived by: his children, Scott Penuel (Karenina), Reid Penuel and Leigh Penuel Wallace of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Jordan Penuel, Raley Webb (Adam), Rob Wallace, Alex Penuel, Sophia Penuel, Eliza Penuel and Will Penuel; his great grandchild Heath Webb; his siblings, Rex Penuel (Ruthie) of Ashford, Alabama and Linda Crawford of Ashford, Alabama; and his siblings-in-law, Tommy Hatfield (Gail) of Kissimmee, Mike Hatfield (Cindy) of Millsap, Texas, Sue McFarland (Brian) of Charlotte, Kathy Akins (Stanley) of Portal, Georgia and Gail Starnes of Conover. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (400 S Main St, Moultrie, GA 31768). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
