It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Thomas Eugene Fender of Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 67, on March 19, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, J. C. Pope and Nell Fender Pope; his sisters, Diane Cooper and Rolanda Pope; and his brother-in-law Kermit Sizemore.

He is survived by : his children, Lane Smith (Monty) of Poland, GA and Zach Fender of Pavo; his grandchildren, Jack Coker, Makalah Smith and Keaton Smith; his siblings, Sissy Johnson (Tom), Charlotte Sizemore of Funston, Joey Pope (Kathy) of Moultrie and Jerome Pope of Moultrie; and his close friends, Darrell King and Tom Cauley. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
