Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Betty leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband H. Norwood Massey; her grandson Dylan Massey; her parents, Austin N. Davis and Matra Lee Gillis Davis; and her siblings, Effie Davis Richardson, Austin E. Davis and Kathleen "Tat" Davis Fennell.
She is survived by: her children, Mel Massey (Annette) of Mt. Vernon and Patty Massey Nipper (Harold) of Vidalia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
