He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Dewitt Powell and Annie Myrtle Mercer Powell; his sister Libby Parrish; and his niece Suzie Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Delories Faircloth Powell of Mt. Vernon; his children, Christian Powell of Mt. Vernon, Victoria Powell and Marty Williams of Cedar Crossing; and his grandson Christopher Powell of Glenwood.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
