She was predeceased by: her mother Haines; her sisters, Jean Fowler, Jackie Webb, Jo Massey and Jan Brown; and her son-in-law Wes Beckwith.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Hurst of Baxley, Steve Hurst of Tifton and Suzanne Beckwith of Norman, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Jason, Ben, Jennifer, Stephanie, Paden and Cody. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilkes Funeral Home, Dustin Michael Wright Room (1722 Mt Vernon Rd, Vidalia, GA 30474). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Vernon Cemetery (800-898 S Mason St, Mt Vernon, GA 30445).
