He was predeceased by: his parents, T. H. Gammon and Ruth Entrekin Gammon; his wife Audrey Starnes Gammon; his brother George Gammon; and his brother-in-law Steve Hudgins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer (Terry Jones), Shana (Robert Wegner) and April Laughter; his sisters, Jane Cammons and Nancy Hudgins; his grandchildren, Emily, J. J. Thornton, Thomas Wegner, Will, Erica Jones, Natalie, Paul VanWingerden and Sullivan Cordell; and his great grandchild Eliana Joy Thornton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
