It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sallie Smith of Murrayville, Georgia, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Charles Gilstrap; her uncle Gene Gilstrap; her grandparents, Edward, Bonnie Gooch, Ollie and Inez Gilstrap; and her grandchildren, Selah and Sparrow.
She is survived by: her mother Frances Gilstrap; her husband James Stanley Smith; her daughters, Kelsie Maria Hinton (Bradley Hinton) and Kayla Abbie Robbins (Blaine Robbins); her grandchildren, Jackson Craig Hinton, Jameson Marie Hinton, Stephen James Robbins and Sophie Mae Robbins; and her sister Lisa Marie Phillips (Todd Phillips). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home (2068 US-19, Dahlonega, GA 30533). The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Solid Rock Baptist Church (7662 Hwy 115 W, Cleveland, GA 30528). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
