He is survived by: his wife Betty Bennett Harris; his sons, Frankie (Rhonda) of Musella, Edd (Leigh Devereaux) of Musella and Steve (Tracie) of Musella, GA.; his sisters, Ann Gillespie (Charlie) of Athens, GA and Nancy Sneathen (Carl) of Atlanta, GA; his nephew Chris Harris of Atlanta, GA.; his sisters-in-law, Allene Harris of Athens, GA and Evelyn Harris of Forsyth, GA.; and his grandchildren, Edward Harris of Musella, GA, Calder Harris (Nicki) of Old Hickory, TN, Nate Harris (Alex) of Forsyth, GA, Sara Weekley (Matthew) of Forsyth, GA and Jonathan Harris (Stephanie) of Musella, GA.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Musella Baptist Church (5430 US-341, Musella, GA 31066).
