He is survived by: his father Emory Smith; his wife Charlene Smith of Nahunta; his children, Rebecca Spurlock (Joey) of Nahunta, Heather Smith (Craig) of Nahunta, Edward Johns of Nahunta and Darrell Smith, Jr. (Marissah) of Byron; his grandchildren, Delilah, Angel, Addie of Weston, E. J., Colton, Jacob and Little Joe Lee; his brother Emory Smith of Brunswick; and his half-sister Pam Horne (Jack) of Waverly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
