As David John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Fredrick Harrell and Marjorie Louise Harrell. He is survived by: his wife Karen Harrell; his children, Georjanna Harrell (Mike Klodnicki) and Toby Harrell (Taylor Harrell); and his brother B. Fred Harrell III.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Frye Funeral Home (136 Satilla Ave, Nahunta, GA 31553). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the New Hope Church (111 New Hope Rd, Nahunta, GA 31553).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Nahunta Global Methodist Church building fund in David's memory.
