It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Richard DouberlyJr. (Nahunta, Georgia), born in Hortense, Georgia, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard Douberly, Sr. and Evelyn Little Douberly; his daughter Jennifer Howard; and his daughter-in-law Christy Lane Douberly. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Jacobs Douberly of Mt. Pleasant; his son-in-law Randall Howard of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Kayla Smith, Chris Kennedy, Keaton Perez, Leighton Howard, Marissa Rogers, Payton Perez, Alyson Rogers, Ansley Rowland and Jayla Howard; and his siblings, Joe Douberly (Edna) of Hortense, Ralph Douberly (Yvonne) of Hortense, Clarence Douberly of Hortense, Donald Douberly of Hortense, Wendell Douberly (Gail) of Hortense and Betty Matthey (Cassel) of West Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
