We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2025, at the age of 80, John Wilbur Wainright (Nahunta, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Olin Wainright and Allie Thrift Wainright; and his siblings, Calvin Wainright, Theo Wainwright, Florrie Wainright and Joe Wainright.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Wainright of Hickox; his children, Darren Wainright (Amy) of McClenny, FL and Tammy Wainright; his grandchildren, Shelby Davis (Chris) and Gracie Wainright; and his sister Dorothy Justice of Hickox.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riverside Chapel Baptist Church (1998 Riverside Rd, Nahunta, GA 31553). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
