With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linton Ardell Herrin of Nahunta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2026 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Merrick Herrin and Mamie Louise Roberts Herrin; his wife Latrelle Lyons Herrin; his great grandchild Koe Kirby; and his sisters, Edith Herrin Ham Highsmith, Marie Herrin Jacobs and Juanita Herrin Hewett.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Smith (Perry) of Hortense, Brian Herrin (Darlene) of Nahunta and Shannon Herrin (Pamela) of Mount Ida, AR; his grandchildren, Brittany Prescott (Seth), Bryant Smith, Sam Smith, Raven Havens, Thomas Rowland, Jorgia Herrin, Cayden Herrin and Nala Herrin; his great grandchildren, Ellery Prescott, Benton Prescott, Tripp Gentry, Chloe Smith and Carley Smith; and his sister Mable Herrin Cook.
