Virginia Mae Barber Obituary

Born January 6, 1943 passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 80, Wednesday, June 7 2023. She was surrounded by family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Byron "Sonny" Barber, her son James Byron Kroscavage.

Virginia leaves behind 4 children, Cindy Fowler, Candy Barber, Tony Barber and Jeffery Barber as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind 3 brothers, Wendell Hooper, Tommy Hooper and Charles Hooper. She also leaves behind her sister Darnell Botthof.

Virginia was a faithful member of King Memorial Baptist Church. A beautiful, wonderful Christian lady, she loved everyone she met and treated everyone as family. She always said," Treat everyone like you want to be treated and if you can't say something nice, don't say anything.". She will be cremated and intered with her beloved husband Sonny at the Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Glenville Ga.

A memorial service will be held at King Memorial Baptist Church in the future at a time to be determined.
