She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Watson Shaw and Maggie Ora Devane Shaw; her husband Carlton Brown; and her siblings, Martha Keffer, Betty Vickers, Doris Whitley, Mary Catoe and Tom Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Toni Keaton (Layne) of Pearson, Carla Kirkland (Joe) of Blackshear, Donna Sherman of Eastpoint, FL and Ricky Brown (Lynn) of Tifton; and her brother Raymond Shaw (Sheila) of Nashville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
