She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Lee Cribb and Mary Lilly Willis Cribb; and her husband James Earl Hughes. She is survived by : her siblings, Winnie Southwell, Mary Lee Rowe, Viola Wynn, Jenny Vickers, Othel Wilkerson, Carter Cribb, Dennis Cribb, Waylon Cribb and Jerry Cribb; her son Kenny Hughes (Marcia) of Nashville; her grandsons, James Hughes (Lauren) of Starke, FL and Mark Hughes (Samantha) of Nashville; and her great grandchildren, Adalyn, Nathan and Amelia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Nashville First Baptist Church.
