He was predeceased by: his parents, Jon Sylvester James and Eva Stollings James; his grandson Raymond Samenski III; and the mother of his children Sharon Cregger. He is survived by: his husband John Frances Britt of Nashville; his daughters, Deb Lembach (Chuck) of Baltimore, MD, Jeannine James (Lisa) of Apolla Beach, FL and Renee Johnston (David) of Orlando, FL; and his brother Clifford James of South Carolina. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
