He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Franklin and Betty Ruth Rogers Franklin; and his siblings, Pat O'Steen and Glenn Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Franklin of Nashville; his children, Kayla Franklin of Las Vegas, NV, Kelly Franklin of Nashville and Travis Franklin of Atlanta; and his sisters, Debra Cornelius of Nashville and Kay Franklin of Nashville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
