He is survived by: his daughters, Mandy Burkhalter (Phil) of Lakeland and Michelle Alcover of Nashville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Alex Alcover, Emily Alcover, Zack Burkhalter, Brailyn Burkhalter and Brilee Burkhalter; and his great grandchildren, Kolton Alcover, Rylee Alcover, Noah Bennett and Cynthia Cannady.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services (88 W Main St, Lakeland, GA 31635). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
