She was predeceased by: her parents, Desso Franklin and Daisy Gladys Faulkner (Learned); and her husband John Douglas. She is survived by: her sons, DJ Douglas of Keller, Texas, Jeremy Wayne Douglas (Linsay) of Valdosta, Georgia and Brent Adam Douglas of Bedford, Texas; her siblings, Cynthia Lou Stewart of Nashville, Georgia and Desso Martin Faulkner (Deloris) of Nashville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Kaelin, Kyler, Cameron, Christina, Adrian, Faith, Merrick, Kira, Grayson, Joseph and Violet; and her great grandchildren, Miles, Aiden and Desiree. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Music Funeral Services - Lakeland (88 W Main St, Lakeland, GA 31635). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church (2662 Poplar Springs Rd, Nashville, GA 31639). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (1600 Riverside Rd, Nashville, GA 31639).
