He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph A. Rowan and Alene Singletary Rowan; and his brothers, Earl Wayne Rowan and Wallace Rowan. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Gibbs Rowan of Nashville; his children, Amber Landrum (Larkin) of Nashville, Josh Rowan of Nashville and Heath Rowan (Jessica) of Folkston; his sisters, Cheryl Luke of Nashville, Lydia Carlton of Coolidge and Lajuana Chafin of Norman Park; his grandchildren, Rachel Tankersley (Travis), Ashley Rowan, Bailey Rowan, Aiden Rowan, Kamren Rowan, Lettie Landrum and Tristan Landrum; and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Conley Jane and Graham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
