He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Rebecca Moore and William Wesley Moore; and his brother William Wesley "Bill" Moore, Jr.. He is survived by: his significant other Julie Mathis Moore; his son Mitchell Blakely "Blake" Moore (Meg); his grandsons, Wesley Mitchell and Marshall Henry; his daughter Blair Moore Griner (Daniel); his grandchildren, Melba Jane and William Breman; his sister Jo Moore Lovein (Bob, family: Fred Moore); and his sister-in-law Pam Mathis Williams (Don). He is also survived by 50 nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Nashville Methodist Church (304 S Berrien St, Nashville, GA 31639).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Nashville Methodist Church or Langdale Hospice House.
