He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Harold McCorvey and Murdell Hale McCorvey; his son Alex McCorvey; his brother Donald McCorvey; and his father-in-law Rev. Bobby Dubose.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Dubose McCorvey of Nashville; his daughter Morgan Boyd (Austin) of Nashville; his grandsons, Xander and Kreed; his siblings, Gwen Smith (Gary) of Moultrie, Faye Foxworth (Randall) of Pine Mountain and Randy McCorvey (Brenda) of Nashville; his mother-in-law Brenda Dubose of Alapaha; and his siblings-in-law, Deborah McCorvey of Nashville, Jeanette Eason of Alapaha and Dairel Dubose of Alapaha. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
