He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie David Pittman and Merle Alice Walker Pittman; his wife Rachel Denise Sexton Pittman; and his siblings, Karen Rowe, Laverne Pittman, James Pittman and Windol Pittman.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Nell Pittman of Fernandina Beach, FL and Brenda Pittman of Nashville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
