He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whit Jackson and Geraldine Williams Jackson; his former wife Linda Jackson; his daughters, Tina Jackson and Kay Jackson; his son-in-law Joe Ed Barrentine; and his siblings, Udale, Sis, Leona, Ester, Mac and Elmer.
He is survived by: his wife Lea Kauffman Jackson of Nashville; his children, Lisa Barrentine of Homosassa, FL, Tommy Jackson, Jr. (Kim) of Bremen, Scott Jackson (Karla) of Adel, Archie Grindy (Debbie) of Richmond, UT and Ben Jackson of Nashville; his grandchildren, Nickey Griffin (Trey), TJ Jackson, Kristen Kreager, Meagan Roberts and Chris Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Abbey Jarvis, Tucker Griffin, Ava Griffin, Alice Roberts and Michael Roberts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Vietnam Veteran Memorial Funds.
