She was predeceased by: her parents, James William "JW" Harris and Bessie Orene Harris (Thompson); and her brothers, JW Harris, Jr., Steve Harris (Pam) and Kenny Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Glenn Godwin of Naylor, Georgia; her son Greg Godwin (Jennifer) of Naylor, Georgia; her grandsons, Kendall Godwin (Alyssa) of Lake Park and Landon Godwin (Abi) of Naylor, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Maebry Jean Godwin and Maggie Ann Godwin; her sisters, Betty Jo Gaskins of Naylor, Rena Strickland of Douglas, Pearl Koniecki (Dennis) of Little Elm, Brenda Brevig (Gerry) of Naylor, Georgia and Bessie Hall (Alan) of Jennings, Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Pam Harris of Lake Park, Georgia and Linda Garcia of Naylor, Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Music Funeral Services - Lakeland Get (88 W Main St, Lakeland, GA 31635). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (6749 US-84, Naylor, GA 31641). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at the Good Hope Cemetery.
